Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a performer from Newark, New Jersey on the 9th August, 1963. Her parents are gospel singers Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick is also a singer. When she was a little girl, Houston started performing professionally in the church choir. She sang backing vocals for Chaka Khosn's single from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mother. She then went on to join the backing vocals of Lou Rawls and Jermaine as well as her mom. She began working as a lead vocalist with the band from New York called Material as well. It was her high quality of her singing with them that attracted the attention of major record companies, such as Arista with whom she signed in 1983. Her daughter Bobbi is born the month of March of 1993, a year following her wedding to Bobby Brown. At this point that her much documented substance abuse began. By 1996 she was an everyday user.

Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for news and reporting and political correspondent for CNN. She hosted a variety of weekend programs on the network, which include Evans & Novak: Late Edition" and Inside Politics." She worked previously for NBC as well as CBS. Bash was awarded a Women in Washington Power List prize by Elle magazine. Bash is widely praised for her incredible abilities as a reporter/an anchor.
