Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991, is an Canadian actress, known for portraying Felicity Smoak in The CW television series Arrow. Rickards, who was raised on the coast of British Columbia, is Canadian. When she was a child, she started to pursue her interest in acting by engaging in dance and musical theater. She graduated from the Acting Essentials Program through Vancouver Film School. Vancouver Film School after graduating from high school. After she completed the program and auditioned, she attended an audition for open casting and was accepted. She was a student at The Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver.
