Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother, an Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching perform in play rehearsals. While still a small girl, she appeared in commercials of various kinds. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career.
